FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What size door do I need?

Order the size of your finished opening. For example, a 9' × 8' opening takes the 9x8 door. The door is built slightly wider than the opening so there's no gap at the sides.

How much room do I need beside the opening?

Plan on about 8 inches of clear wall on each side of the opening for the guides. Email us your opening dimensions and we'll confirm headroom for your size.

Which mounting type should I choose?

Choose the material your door will mount to on each side of the opening: wood, steel or masonry (block, brick or concrete). It sets which brackets and fasteners come with your door.

Which side should the chain hoist go on?

Stand inside the building facing the door and pick the side where you want the hand chain. Choose the side with easy access and nothing in the way.

Can I add a motor later?

Yes. Doors ship with a manual chain hoist, and a motor (electric operator) kit can be added later.

Is installation included?

No. Doors ship ready to install. A handy owner with help and the right equipment, or any local door installer, can install it.

How much is shipping?

A flat $1,200 per order for crating and truck freight to the freight terminal nearest you in the lower 48 states. It's added at checkout. See Shipping & Delivery for the details.

Where are your doors made?

In the USA.

Can I cancel or return a door?

Every door is built to your size, so please double-check your measurements before ordering. If something isn't right, email sales@caseyssupply.com as soon as possible.
